Sandy joined British Airways
in 1979 and started to work as a Fleet Administrator in 1983. In 1996 Sandy
had the opportunity to take early retirement.
Having worked with Cabin
Crew for a considerable time Sandy was asked to return on a part-time basis
by the A.C.C.F. Committee to run the administration of the Fund at Heathrow
in 1996.
Sandy co-ordinates the day
to day running of the A.C.C.F. in conjunction with Ran Meyer. Together they
ensure that Cabin Crew Fund Members receive Get Well Cards, gift vouchers
and cheques. They also allocate a dedicated volunteer from the Cabin Crew
community to keep in touch with that person for the duration of their sickness
if so required.
